Voilà! Je suis arrivée à Dakar lundi en fin de journée - et je me suis tout de suite sentie chez moi. Je suis à l'hôtel cette semaine (la photo, c'est le coup d'oeil de ma chambre), mais je suis prête à lancer ma vie Sénégalaise d'un an. Avec l'aide de mes super collègues, j'ai maintenant un apartement (tout près du bureau), un numéro de téléphone et un compte en banque.
My new colleagues also helped me move backwards technologically - turns out my phone is too old to get the latest version of whatsapp, and the version I have is too old to reconize new Senegal numbers. So we went fishing to get an old sim card, to go with my old phone, so I could use my old whatsapp (find me on whatsapp!!). Why move forward when you can move backwards? Said no one ever. Glad I could give my new colleagues a good laugh before I start.

Anywayyyys - il me reste une nuit à l'hôtel pour finir de bien me reposer avant de m'installer dans mon nouveau chez moi, et un weekend pour aller me promener avant de commencer à travailler lundi. And THEN - watch out world :) Entretemps, j'essaie de nouveaux jus de fruits, je mange beaucoup beaucoup de poisson, et je profite du coup d'oeil :)
